Greater is he!

God turned it Around: Jeff’s Testimony
This past November I applied for a full time position that had opened at my job. After several months of waiting and testing, I was informed I was disqualified. During one of the tests I made the mistake of not being prepared causing poor test results. Not only did I loose the full time opportunity, but also my part time position because of the same mistake. This was extremely shocking and unforeseen. It also made me frustrated, angry, and sad.
I then began to pray for direction on what to do next. Soon after some of my co-workers approached me saying to challenge the results. At first, I was scared to bring it to the attention of my supervisors for fear it would cause more problems. Bringing the situation to my father and talking it over with him helped me greatly. All of a sudden I felt something inside of me saying, “Don’t stay quiet”. Going on that feeling, I wrote to my supervisors over the weekend about some of the reasons why the results were invalid. They replied, “You’ll hear a response from us early next week”
After hearing the reply, I left it in the Lord’s hands and prayed for some result. The following Tuesday I received a phone call from supervisor saying, “Come in and sign up for shifts, you got the part time job back. Not only that, you’re being reconsidered for the full time position.”
Hearing this news, I was extremely happy and couldn’t wait to tell everyone. I couldn’t thank the Lord enough for what was done. To be given a second chance and to turn a “no” into a “yes” made me feel very blessed. I can’t put into words how grateful I am.
P.S. My official start date for my Full Time position is May 1st.
